Farewell to the Florida Keys!

So after we went to the fort, we were pretty much exhausted, and we knew we would have to get up early to miss the traffic leaving the Keys.

So we were boring.  We left the boat, went and picked up dinner on the way home, packed up our suitcase, and curled up in bed early.

We got up before the sun, and left the Keys the same way we arrived.  In darkness!  We put the top down when we stopped for breakfast, once we were almost all the way out of the keys.

So there's not really any photos to show you other than ones basically of the car!

  1. Fascinating laces. I had no idea there were historic buildings like that there. They seem to have been built on classic lines.

I am sorry I missed your phone call yesterday. I was Christmas shopping and came home exhausted. I saw your Auntie Kerrie for an hour or so. What a tale of woe!! Tom's parents are in a sad state and Kerrie sounded very down.

    Have fun.

    1. Mum - I'll try and call on Christmas Day if I can (depending on where we are).

The car isn't quite the same colour as mine, but we did choose it since it was more interesting than the white/grey ones we saw. It was a nice car to ride in, Jeff's comment was "she picks up her petticoats and gets moving pretty well".
