  1. I didn't respond yesterday as I was in Brisbane. I went to the doctor as this cough is maddening. I have had it 3 weeks. I now have anti-biotics which I take reluctantly - it took 3 months to right my system last time!

We also loved Ottawa - such a pretty clean city!. Of course it wasn't snowing when we were there. For Queenslanders, it adds a certain exotic charm, especially as it is 33 degrees here and 45 elsewhere in the state. When we were there in 2006, we were not permitted to park our hired RV in the city. No insurance company would cover them. The rate of theft of RVs was astronomical. We caught public transport. I wonder if it is still the same. We loved the bronze statues also - especially the Regency lady. Fantastic!

You have some special photos. I liked especially the ones at tea. Very artistically composed. No tourists getting in the way!

Last night was the first night of Sarah's end of year concerts. She is relatively well this year. Hannah was very cross that I didn't have Poppy with me! Wouldn't cuddle me!.

    Stay warm. Much love, Mum.

  2. I remember a lot of those places you photographed in Ottawa. The detail in those bronze statues is amazing. I really did not miss the snow though. I still don't think that was real snow as it was just a light dusting. I'm waiting for it to come up to your knees when you walk in it.

We are off to Cootharaba next week so comments will be fewer. I'm sure you will miss that. Last Sunday I told Richard to read your blog as he had not seen it. He told me Rose was well and came for a cuddle and pat. He also cleaned the skimmer box/filter or something while he was there.

    Enjoy Canada.

    Dad

  3. I told your father to say to you that of course we can see that it is cold.... even your hair has turned blue! Speaking of which when Geoff told his mother that Hannah can only last 30 minutes in water before she turns blue & starts shivering - just like you did- she told him to take her to a doctor as there was obviously something very wrong!!

I am enjoying sharing trivia with you. Love Mum
